Rooms that are pretty to look at but that have no real use are a waste of time and space, and architects know this better than anyone in the market. “There’s a wrong tendency to add adjectives to architecture: ‘Functional’, ‘green’, ‘wow!’ when in fact architecture MUST BE functional, conscious of weather and materials” it’s Caceres’ thought, and he knows better than anyone that there are people that look at floorplans like possibilities, and have a list of expectations on what their clients want, as well as personal notes on their lifestyles and habits that they pick from the chats with the people who hire them. “Our designs should inspire feelings, otherwise, it’s just another construction” it’s his last comment on this subject.
We are transparent
Most people assume that these specialists just do the building, but in reality, their work entangles many things that aren’t noticeable at first, about this, our expert has his input: “Architects offer a service that sometimes is intangible, and that can lead to misunderstandings”.
